MetLife Foundation Continues Support of American Indian College Fund For Scholarships with $10,000 Grant

Denver (September 24, 2007) MetLife Foundation awarded $140,000 to the American Indian College Fund (the Fund) for scholarships for American Indian education.

The funds are a continuation of grant support from the foundation, and will be available for 2007-08 academic year scholarships.

“Like the Fund, MetLife Foundation is committed to increasing educational opportunities and access to higher education. We are pleased to renew support for your work and look forward to following your progress over the next year,” said Sibyl Jacobson, President and Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Foundation.

The grant supports qualified American Indian students by providing financial support to encourage them to complete a college degree, facilitating a better life for themselves, their families, and valuable contributions to their communities and nation.
