First cohort of NTC Registered Nursing students set to graduate

CROWNPOINT, NM – Navajo Technical College will be graduating its first cohort of Registered Nursing students Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Red Rock State Park auditorium in Church Rock, NM.
The graduation will begin at 10 am and will be led by Master of Ceremonies, Dr. Wesley Thomas, NTC’s Chair of the School of Dine’ Studies and Education. The commencement speaker will be Navajo Nation Vice President, Mr. Rex Lee Jim.
Following the graduation ceremony, Navajo Technical College’s School of Nursing will be hosting a pinning ceremony starting at 2:00 pm. There will also be a short moment of silence for former NTC Director of Nursing, Ms. Frances Ellis.
