Rick Williams traveled to the set and met with producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura. Williams was interviewed on camera for the DVD, and discussed his American Indian heritage, the mission of the Fund, the Fund's role with the film, and how Hollywood portrays American Indians on screen. In addition, three Fund staffers served as extras in the film. The film will be released in late 2008. | ||

DENVER, Colorado (January 22, 2008)— Paramount Pictures presented the American Indian College Fund with a check for $50,000 to be used for student scholarships in appreciation for the Fund's work as a consultant for Eddie Murphy's comedy, “Nowhereland.” Fund staffers reviewed the script to ensure that the humor was not offensive to Native Americans and cultural references were accurate.
