FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The George and Fay Young Foundation Grants $25,000 to American Indian College Fund for Scholarships Denver, Colo. (Dec. 2, 2009) – The George and Fay Young Foundation has granted the American Indian College Fund $25,000 for scholarships for American Indian students. This grant will support qualified American Indian students who show academic achievement and involvement in their communities by providing financial resources to encourage them to complete a college degree. Richard B. Williams, President and CEO of the American Indian College Fund, said, “The generosity of The George and Fay Young Foundation will help American Indian students earn a higher education. Graduates go on to help others in their community as teachers, health care workers, entrepreneurs, and more, serving as role models, leaders, and change-agents.
