The amount will be disbursed equally to students belonging to seven Montana tribal colleges and will be awarded to students with a 2.5 or higher grade point average. Richard B. Williams, President and CEO of the American Indian College Fund, said, “The generosity of The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation and their commitment to helping American Indian students in Montana achieve a higher education is to be commended, especially in hard economic times.
