The Leibowitz and Greenway Family Charitable Foundation Continues Support, Granting $20,000 for Scholarships

Denver, Colo. (Aug. 18, 2009) – The Leibowitz and Greenway Family Charitable Foundation has granted the American Indian College Fund $5,000 for scholarships for American Indian students. This grant will support qualified American Indian students who show academic achievement and involvement in their communities by providing financial resources to encourage them to complete a college degree. With an education, students can build a better life for themselves, their families, and make valuable contributions to their communities and nation.

The foundation has been a committed donor to the Fund since 2005, and has donated a total of $20,000 to further the education of American Indian students.

Richard B. Williams, President and CEO of the American Indian College Fund, said, “The continued generosity of The Leibowitz and Greenway Family Charitable Foundation over four years helps American Indian students earn a higher education, giving them greater hope for a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.
