American Indian College Fund – Faculty Development Grant

The American Indian College Fund-Faculty Development Grant Program provides financial support to a select group of current TCU faculty pursuing a Ph.D., Ed.D., or other terminal degrees.  Eligible applicants must have completed required coursework and be in the process of collecting data and conducting research to complete their degree.  Applicants do not have to be ABD to participate in the American Indian College Fund-Faculty Development Grant Program.  The program offers small grants to current TCU faculty to complete research requirements and other activities that will contribute to degree attainment.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a current tribal college faculty member enrolled in an accredited terminal degree program
  • Possess a demonstrated commitment to American Indian education and scholarship
  • Agree to continue serving as faculty for at least one year at a TCU after completion of the research project and sign a contract agreeing to this stipulation
  • Maintain communication with the American Indian College Fund program representative
  • The Faculty Development Grant Program is geared toward enhancing academic and faculty capacity at tribal colleges.
