Deloria Family Establishes Vine Deloria Jr. Endowed Scholarship Fund

On November 13, 2005, American history was forever changed with the passing of Vine Deloria Jr. A prolific writer, social critic, theologian, activist and scholar, Deloria was arguably the most prominent and influential American Indian voice of the 20th Century.

In cooperation with the Deloria family, the American Indian College Fund's board of trustees established the Vine Deloria Jr. Endowed Scholarship Fund in his honor.  To date, the endowment has grown tremendously thanks to the generous support of numerous individuals from across the country and beyond.
